What was your approach to the High Contrast technique in the 'Indoor Animal' set? If you don't mind spilling a few secrets, that is. Much appreciated, and well done, yet again. Your work both makes me want to shoot more, and give up shooting at the same time.
There’s no answer I could give you here that you’d be happy with. On one hand this was shot on film. On the other hand I have a very specific process for "balancing" the image in Lightroom and then editing Photoshop for a lot of contrast. This is the topic for my Advanced Techniques workshop. If it were possible to describe it all here, I wouldn’t have enough material for a 3-hour morning retouching class/demo.
What's the models name in the B2B4 shoot? Is it MissJess from model mayhem? They look like twins. Awesome work btw I'm a huge fan. Just getting into your podcasts and vids now! Keep up the amazing work!!!!
Thanks for the kind words! I can’t find the pic you’re referencing but I’ve never shot with a Miss Jess from ModelMayhem. Cheers!
Charlie,Sorry for the late reply, I've been wrapping late for the past couple days. The editorial sounds great, looking at your tumblr I can see your a very talented photographer. Will this shoot involve any nudity?Regards,Cheryl
Hi Cheryl, sounds like you might have been corresponding with someone else up until now? I will never refer to myself as Charlie and I will only send email from email@example.com or my Facebook account http://www.facebook.com/charleslucima
For reference, the last time this happened someone used a hotmail trying to book shoots pretending to me be.
